Fiber rebar technology has been in use in the western world for the past 15 years now, and its now trying to reach the Philippines. The rebar fibers have to be poured down your mixer.
It promises to save you time on labor as you will not be spending hours or days on preparing the traditional deformed rebars anymore – all you have to do is pour the fibers down your mixer. Since it also costs just a fraction of traditional rebars, it also promises to save you money.
Since the fiber will be embedded in every area of your concrete, it will also be 10 times stronger than traditional rebars.
One objection it faces start at the local government regulators. We just fear that the local government engineers will doubt this technology, but the manufacturer of these fiber rebars can bring in their engineers to elaborate the mathematical and structural documentation for the product.
If you’re interested to know more about this technology, you can drop by St. Marks hotel function room this Friday July 13 2018 at exactly 10 am to hear more about this technology. Lunch will be served afterwards…
